Located in the heart of Salamanca Place, Blue Eye offers fresh, local seafood that is beautifully plated and cooked to perfection. A waterfront property, with charming décor and a relaxed atmosphere, their contemporary menu specializes in a range of seafood platters, grilled fish dishes, and of course, good old fish and chips. Another venue where bookings are highly recommended, Blue Eye are known for its ‘Afternoon Oyster Orgy’ which offers freshly shucked oysters from the Tasmanian Oyster Company for only $2 each (at the time of writing) every Tuesday to Saturday. The restaurant also has a takeaway option for those who would rather eat at home or somewhere else.
