Whether it by the river, or along trendy Hastings Street, Noosa is a lovely place to have breakfast. There are a number of excellent cafes, eateries and restaurants within the area that plate up delightful food in a very artful way - most of whom champion the freshest in local produce. Many venues claim to serve the best breakfast in Noosa, but weâ€™ve done the research and reckon these businesses are the ones who do.
Enjoying a wonderful position by a stylish beachfront boardwalk that overlooks Laguna Bay, Bistro C is an award winning restaurant that serves up an exceptional breakfast. Known for their delicious pancakes and signature Turkish brekkie, the venue also presents one of the best Eggs Benedict on the coast. To compliment this they also offer a fabulous range of coffees and organic herbal teas, as well as smoothies and juices.
Moondoggy's Cafe Bar is a laid back riverside cafe that resides in the heart of Noosaville. Located in The Islander Noosa Resort, they serve up all the usual brekkie classics. But to really set yourself up for the day grab a friend and order the Breakfast Tower set menu. Which is a delightful feast of pancakes, yoghurt, fresh fruit, a hot breakfast that includes grilled haloumi, pork sausage, eggs and bacon amongst other things, toast and fresh juice.
A stalwart by the Noosa River since 2008, Grind Cafe serves up the best coffee on the whole of the Sunshine Coast. Open from 6.30am they also present a fantastic all day breakfast menu too that features plenty of gluten free and/or vegetarian options. This includes their 'healthy breakfast', 'breakfast bowl' and delicious homemade hash browns. For those wanting something a little sweeter, their French Toast and waffles are absolutely delicious, while their coconut bircher muesli is to die for.
The Noosa Depot Cafe is a very popular coffee shop that overlooks the Noosa River at Gympie Terrace in Noosaville. Dishing up terrific food and wonderful Padre coffee, it is known for its outstanding all day breakfast (and lunch) options. Many dishes of which are gluten free, dairy free and vegetarian. Their breakfast bowls are especially popular (we recommend the Snickers bowl!), while their avo smash is magnificent. But for the ultimate treat try their Belgian Waffles!
Situated on the Noosa River and boasting fabulous park and water views, the Esco Cafe & Restaurant is a dog-friendly cafÃ© that is a real favourite amongst Noosa locals. Boasting excellent coffee, a fantastic breakfast menu and a congenial atmosphere, their menu features classics like the BLAT, avo smash, eggs benny and salmon bagel. As well as a number of other bread free options too, while their organic coffee come from the Clandestino Roasters.
